PSS GRADUATE PAPER
Each year the Pennsylvania Sociological Society (PSS) sponsors a graduate student paper competition. The best paper award winner receives a certificate and cash award.
The paper must have been written by the author while enrolled in a graduate program. Papers are acceptable if the paper was written in the one-year academic calendar prior to the conference, even if the author has graduated.
The paper may not exceed 35 double-spaced pages at 12 point type with at least 1.25-inch margins, including tables, appendices, and references. A 300 word (or less) abstract is required.
Either ASA or APA formatting is acceptable.
Students must submit the submission form AND an electronic copy of the paper to Megumi Omori, Ph.D. at email@example.com by the deadline - October 1, 2017.
Accepted graduate papers are presented in a special session devoted to graduate work. All graduate students must be present at the conference and be registered in order to be fully engaged in the paper competition
