Call for Undergraduate Papers/Posters and Graduate Papers
The 2017 PSS annual conference provides an arena to debate and analyze the current political climate for scholars, researchers, and students. Under the theme, “Push Back and Resist,” the conference is focused on social issues which have received recent media attention including environmental issues, immigration, LGBTQ, gender, and race. Other topics are also welcomed to be shared at the conference.
All conference presentations are Saturday, October 28. Friday evening, October 27 includes a social event whereby sociologists from across the state can connect, network, and build social capital.
Below you will find submission instructions for general sessions, for undergraduate and graduate student paper competitions, and an undergraduate poster competition. Please read instructions as different submissions go to different officers of the PSS. Complete sessions are welcome.
